Roatán

Depart from Jonesville Bight on Roatán’s southeast coast. Sail the protected south and southeast side, with quiet coves and swimming and snorkeling stops.

Sailing begins on the southeast side of Roatán. Routes and anchorages depend on weather and trip length; distances on the crew’s map are approximate, not a navigation chart.

John & Debbie

Your crew.
Your kind of people.

We’re John and Debbie. In 2007, we set off aboard our 42-foot yacht to make a life of cruising — along the US East Coast, through the Bahamas, and into the Caribbean.

Then we found Roatán. Its protected harbors became home, and sharing these waters became our favorite part of the journey. Today, we sail from our own dock in Jonesville Bight, with trips shaped around what you love.

A few things
you might wonder.

Where does the trip begin?

We sail from Jonesville Bight on Roatán’s southeastern shore. The original site describes it as around 30 minutes from the airport. Ask us for directions and transport arrangements when planning your trip.

Do I need sailing experience?

Your charter is captained, so you can enjoy the journey without taking responsibility for the boat. If you’re curious about sailing, tell John and Debbie — learning and getting involved can be part of your experience.

What’s included, and what should I bring?

Choose a captained charter with your own food and drinks, or a fully catered trip. Day catering includes snacks, lunch, beverages, beer and rum. Bring swimwear, sun protection, a towel and your questions; the crew can confirm snorkeling equipment and any personal requirements.

How many people can come?

Day sails welcome 2–8 guests. Overnight and multi-day charters accommodate 2–4 guests. Charter minimums apply; the crew will confirm the total for your group before you book.

Can we choose our route?

Yes — talk to us about the sailing, snorkeling and island adventures you have in mind. Routes depend on weather, sailing conditions and your trip length. Cayos Conchinos and Guanaja require longer trips; availability and fees are confirmed directly.

Tell us a little about your trip.
We’ll help you turn “one day” into a day on the water.

Send your trip details to John and Debbie. Dates and bookings are confirmed personally by the crew.
